The Met New York Rugby Union is proud to announce the Met NY Summer 7s Series 2010.

The following great Rugby 7s Tournaments are expected to take place in the New York area this summer:

June 19: Rockaway Sevens
June 26: Hell Gate Sevens (Randall's Island)
July 10:  Midnight Sevens (Pier 40 or Randall's Island)
July 17:  New Jersey Sevens (Princeton)
July 24:  NRU Championships (Randall's Island)

Dates and locations of each tournament will be finalized and announced nearer the time, watch this space. 

The plan is for the series to kick off at PlayRugby's Mayor's Cup on June 5.  All summer, each tournament's winning teams will accumulate points towards the Met NY Summer 7s Series championship.  Met NY will track the results and announce the winners following the final tournament.  We hope to present the winners with their trophies at USA Rugby's National All Star 7s Championship on Randall's Island in late August (pending confirmation of venue).
