Injured Rugby Player - Help Krissa-Marie Wiechmann Get to Mayo Clinic

RUGBY IMPORTS & RUGBY MANUFACTURER GILBERT HELP KRISSA

June 11th, 2010 Vassar sophomore, Krissa-Marie Wiechmann, was injured playing for the Northeast Rugby Union Women's Under 23 Select side. At a scrum on the engagement she was struck on the neck and immediately was incapacitated. Her C6-C7 vertebrae were severly damaged and pressure was on her spinal cord due to the displacement. After surgery, Krissa spent the 2 days in intensive care and she is now battling to regain feeling, movement, and strength in her extremities.

Rugby retailer RUGBY IMPORTS and English Company GILBERT, a manufacturer of rugby equipment and kit, are offering 4 tickets to this weekend's Churchill Cup event being staged at The Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. Full details of the tournament can be read at this link here.

There will be two drawings of a pair of tickets from the names of all who donate to the "Help Krissa Get to the Mayo Clinic" fund. Those who have already donated will be included in the draw.

You can go to this link to donate and be entered in the draw: http://bit.ly/9DHMue  The draw will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 pm PST and the winners notified by e-mail.

Thank you to Bob Hoder and Rugby Imports Ltd., and Gilbert for their generosity.

Thank you all for your kindness and support at this difficult time.
