"Come Play the Game"

 Women's 10’s Tournament to be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 

The Division II Women’s teams of the METNYRFU (Morris, Suffolk and the Village Lions) have planned a 10’s Tournament to be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the home pitch of Morris RFC in  Denville , NJ .   The purpose of the tournament is to support newly developing women’s teams in the METNY area.  The competition will consist of members from new and well established teams.   The following teams plan to participate with either a full side or partial sides.   ( Bristol, Hudson Valley, Monmouth, Montauk, Morris, North Jersey, Southern New York, Suffolk, Village Lions, Union)

We are working with teams with low numbers to give them the support they need to participate in the tournament.   We want to give the new teams opportunities to give their players game time to help develop their skills.   In order to keep the cost down for the newer teams, the METNYRFU is generously giving financial support to assist in the costs of the tournament.
