To the Clubs
and Colleges and High Schools:
Thanks to the
following clubs who attended the meeting!
Here are the
action items based on the meeting:
LEVEL1
REFEREE CLINIC:
To
address the need to train referees, all
clubs who are interested in having another
Level 1 clinic should get in touch with me
or the RRSNY Referee Trainer (Paul Bethe:
pbethe@bear.com) ASAP. We will set up
another clinic based on the response we
get. Please indicate what time frame would
be preferable and we will try to set a date
that is best for the majority.
Bear in mind
we just had a clinic 2 weeks ago, so this
will not be something that may happen in the
next few weeks!
MINIMUM
FIELD SIZE REQUIREMENTS:
It was announced
and accepted by the clubs in attendance that
in the interest of safety, matches will only
be played on pitches that are a proper
size. The MINIMUM size acceptable is 80
Meters Long by 60 Meters Wide. If a referee
shows up to a pitch smaller than this the
match will not be played. Also, if the
field is not properly marked and if the
referee considers the pitch unsafe, then the
match will not be played until the ref's
requirements are met
CLUB INFO

Attached is the
latest version of the club info sheet based
on what I have received from the
clubs/colleges/high schools so far. If you
have not sent in your info yet, please use
the attached sheet to do so.

SCHEDULES:
The only club we
have not heard from is North Jersey and they
said on Sunday they would get theirs in
ASAP. The high schools are all set. The
colleges that have sent in their schedules
are listed as follows. USMMA sent us a
schedule full of TBD's. Sorry gentlemen,
that does not count.
Any schedules
received after today will be marked "LATE"
and will not get priority in assignments.
NOTE:
College "Alumni" matches will only get
referees if there are any available after
regular matches are assigned. Alumni games
are usually not covered by RRSNY referees.
