Date Set for the MetUnion AGM

The second AGM will be held,  in order to get the elections over with, on the 5th of March at 3 pm. The location of the AGM will be O'Reilly's Pub at 54W 31st Street, right next to Penn Station.  The Agenda for the Meeting will be Elections and New Business. Please forward all new business to info@metnyrfu.org (or any other board member) so it may be placed on the agenda for everyone to see.

Voting Rules

All proxies need to be in to the Union Secretary 48 hours in advance of the meeting. The rules for voting are that there will be one vote cast by each person present, unless that person is carrying a valid proxy.  A board member voting both his board seat and his club affiliated seat must have the club's proxy.  Anyone voting both the men's and women's vote of their respective club must have the proxy of the affiliated men's or women's club to vote the second vote.  Members must be in good standing to vote.  Good standing is defined as having the club, as opposed to the players, CIPP registered for 2006 and have paid dues for 2005 or otherwise worked out an accord with the Union Treasurer.
