Morris Women's Rugby is hosting a Women's College Clinic on Saturday, March 25th, from 10 am to 2 pm for Women's Colleges at Morris's practice field in Morristown, NJ.

 

Morris Women placed 3rd in NRU DII competition last spring, and will bring a good deal of experience to the clinic.  Among our roster of approximately 30 women, we have three players with NRU Select Side experience and one player with MARFU Select Side experience. Several Morris Ruggers played for various U23 Select Sides, including the NRU territorial squad and the Virginia RU and Texas RU local union teams. We also have an Atlantis 7s player, an active ref, and two U19 coaches in addition to our certified coaching staff.

 

We will cover the following topics:
*team warm-up
*individual skill work
*unit skill work (forwards and backs works)
*team attack patterns
*team defense
*team tactics and field vision

 

Registration is $20/player before March 10, 2006, and $25 afterwards. T-shirts will be given to all who register prior to March 11th. A brown bag lunch, water and Gatorade will also be provided.
