East Islip HS RFC Mourns the Loss of Liz Isles
 

Rob Fioresi, Head Coach of the East Islip High School RFC on Long Island, regretfully announces the passing of Liz Isles of Sayville, New York. She was a great advocate of the game of rugby. Liz is survived by her husband Tom and sons Jonathan and Timmy.

Jonathan and Timmy have played the game since a young age. They played in the Cayman Islands and here on Long Island. Rob had met them 5 years ago and had the pleasure of coaching them. With the help of their Mother and Father they started the Sayville Rugby team. Liz helped to coach, fund raise and most of all was a true rugby Mom. Liz and I spent many hours on the phone trying to promote the game and we became friends through the love of the game. She will be dearly missed on the sidelines during the spring season. May she rest in peace.
