Alec Wurth Running the ball for OC Bucks

Alec Wurth, a.k.a. Bunk, grew up in Orange, California. Bunk is a dedicated
special education teacher, a strong athlete, a committed friend, and a
devoted son and brother.

Bunk sustained a serious spinal cord injury while playing rugby on February
25th, 2006, and is paralyzed from the shoulders down.

Bunk has worked five years at
Speech and Language Development Center's
Buena Park Campus, a school and therapy center for children and young
adults with language, learning, and behavior disorders (many have multiple
han
dicapping conditions), resulting in complex educational needs. Bunk loves
his work and his students love Bunk. Bunk has positively impacted hundreds
of students and families through his work.

An outstanding athlete his entire life, Bunk is an avid rugby player. He is a
key member of the
Orange County Bucks rugby team. His team is eagerly
awaiting Bunk's recovery and participation.

Bunk has lots of friends and family, and appreciates all the prayers, notes,
and visits.
