Below is information for the MetNY Collegiate All Stars. Participants must be enrolled at a College or University in order to be eligible. Players interested in the team are asked to register at www.RugbyTryouts.com.

The tryout/practice schedule will be as follows:

• March 20^th: 9am-1pm, Randall’s Island, Field 73

• March 27^th : 9am-1pm, Randall’s Island, Field 73

Selections will be based upon:

• Experience/Skill
• Fitness
• Commitment

Players that are selected to the MetNY Collegiate All Stars will need to be available for the NRU Tourament on April 9-10, 2011 in Albany NY. On Saturday April 23, the NRU collegiate selectors will be conducting fitness testing of all players. On Sunday April 24, the Collegiate All Star teams will play each other and players will be evaluated by the NRU collegiate selectors.

Note: NRU SELECTIONS

Based on fitness scores and player evaluations at the NRU tournament, the NRU collegiate selectors will select a player pool for the NRU Select Side that will travel out to the National Collegiate All Star Tournament (NCAS) in Glendale CO in June. Players selected into this player pool will be further evaluated at NRU camp(s) in May 2011.
