The Seawolves Rugby Academy at Stony Brook University has donated mouthpieces to the MetNY Under 19 and High School teams (both boys and girls).  After learning more about the dangers of playing without mouthpieces at the MetNY AGM by Dr. Lopez, the Seawolves Rugby Academy thought the donation would be a great opportunity to promote player safety within the MetNY.

Head Coach Dan Yarusso commented “We take our players safety very seriously. It is important that we keep our younger players safe to make sure they keep on playing as they are the foundation of USA Rugby.”

The Seawolves Rugby Academy at Stony Brook University is based out of Long Island NY and is made up of several teams that compete in the MetNY.
