Brooklyn Women Need Backs Coach
Brooklyn Women’s Rugby is a Division II team located in Brooklyn, NY (we practice in Red Hook and Prospect Park). We are the newest team in the Met NY Union and have been working hard to develop a core group of players looking to take their game to the next level. We are looking for an additional dedicated coach who is willing to work with our current coach so that we can focus on more positional specialization. They should have an incredible passion for coaching the back line and hopefully a special place intheir heart for the Brooklyn borough.

This year the club is focused on becoming a more competitive team (of course maintaining our funspirited attitude) and need the expertise of a backs coach to assist with a team in its infancy. While this is a volunteer position, it offers an amazing opportunity to grow with a team and build your athletic resume. Practice times are Mondays (Prospect Park) and Thursdays (Red Hook) from 6:30pm-8:30pm. We break from Mid-December through January and return to an indoor facility in February until it's warm enough (and light enough) to be outside.

Requirements:
- Needed to begin as soon as you're available! We start indoors thefirst or second week of February at a Gymnasium in Prospect Park
- Must be USA Rugby's Coach Development Program certified (or willingto get certified within 6 months)
- Some experience preferred, but not necessary; commitment to learning a must- Must work well with our current forwards’ coach
- Not interested in playing while coaching
